Homeroom: I will teach Math and Science to both the fourth and fifth graders this year. The fourth graders will come to me for the afternoon blcok and the fifth graders will come for the morning block.
Student will enter the building at 9:00 and report to their homeroom class for attendance, to turn in homework and to share Good News. The homeroom teacher will then let the studnets know what learning group they should report to and the day will continue until lunch time.
After lunch, student will report to the same homeroom teacher for attendance, etc. The homeroom teacher will again share learning group assignments and the day will continue until dismissal.
Planner, Pencil Box, & Homework Folder: You must bring your planner, pencil box, and your homework folder to class EVERYDAY. These items will help you stay organized and encourage communication between home and school.
Break time: You can bring a healthy snack to eat at break time. Healthy snacks include things like graham crackers. an apple, or a granola bar. It does not include candy, cookies, or fruit snacks.
Music: You will be playing the recorder this year. Your music teacher will hand out information on how to buy the recorder near the start of the school year. Once you purchase your recorder, it is your responsibility to practice and bring your recorder to music class every Wednesday.
Gym: Remember to bring your gym shoes.
